On behalf of our client, Noor Workforce Solutions is currently seeking applicants for Level 3 Telephone Interviewer positions in Dallas. As a Level 3 Telephone Interviewer, you will conduct telephone interviews for the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics' Current Employment Statistics (CES) program and interview businesses and government agencies to collect detailed monthly data on employment, hours, and earnings. Specifically, interviewers ask the respondents to provide information from their payroll records for the pay period that includes the 12th of the month on the following topics: total employment, total payroll, total number of hours paid, number of women employees, length of the pay period and data on production and nonsupervisory employees.
The compensation for this position is $33.55 per hour.
All the duties assigned to Interviewer 3 positions include:
- Mentor
- Demonstrate consistent high performance in all data collection activities, serving as a model for the interviewer team
- Focus on refusal conversion, successfully re-engaging respondents who have initially declined to participate
- Handle unresolved and escalated cases from other interviewers, applying advanced techniques to achieve completion
- Specialize in delinquent cases, achieving above-average collection rates through persistence and skilled communication
- Mentor junior interviewers (Interviewer 1 and 2 levels) in correct procedures related to enrollment, collection, and edit reconciliation
- Conduct telephone interviews using CATI (Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviewing) systems
- Use internet research skills to locate and verify respondent contact information
- Maintain accurate and detailed case notes and documentation
- Assist supervisors with training new team members on data collection procedures
- Provide feedback to supervisors on system issues, process improvements, and interviewer challenges
- Ensure strict adherence to BLS protocols and confidentiality requirements
- Meet or exceed established productivity and quality metrics
- Participate in special projects and pilot testing as assigned
- Collaborate with team members to share best practices and successful strategies
Position Requirements
- Interest in mentorship and able to maintain current workload while also answering questions and guiding Interviewer 1 and 2's
- Assisting supervisor when needed
- High School diploma or equivalent and one year of experience in Interviewer 1 role
- Able to manage original Level 2 workload in addition to mentoring
- Work their full time hours consistently
- Two years of experience using MS Office or equivalent software suite
- Experience using the internet for research and information gathering
- Strong verbal communication skills with a professional phone manner
- Basic data entry skills with attention to accuracy
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and protocols
- Customer service orientation with patience and courtesy
- Experience working with productivity metrics
- Experience in refusal conversion or retention calling
- Previous mentoring or training experience
- Familiarity with BLS programs (CES)
- Experience with data quality control procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Some college coursework or vocational training
- 1+ years of experience in management experience
- 3+ years of experience in telephone interviewing or survey data collection
- Bilingual capabilities (Spanish/English)
- Experience with government or business-to-business communications
- Knowledge of basic data quality principles
