Description:
On behalf of our client, Noor Staffing Group is currently seeking an experienced Bilingual Cantonese/English and/or Mandarin/English Team Lead to work remotely. The Team Lead will spend part of their time calling health plans to ask questions over the telephone about benefits and coverage as part of a budget-based quality control evaluation and providing support to interviewers. The starting base pay for this position is $18.00 per hour.
Team Leads will be asked to work at least 20 hours of work per week, including possible weekend shifts.
The position for most staff, especially Bilingual staff, will go from January 2026 through May 2026. There is a possibility to extend the position depending on project availability and overall performance. There is required paid training for this position. Training will be a combination of at-home study and webinar.
Calling starts at 8:00 am and continues through approximately 11:00pm (in the Eastern Time Zone) Monday through Friday.
A shift must be at least 4-hours in length, and you'll be required to work the same shift each day (i.e. 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm)
The client provides IT equipment and resources (laptop, headset, system access).
As a Bilingual Team Lead, you will:
Perform the duties of an Interviewer up to 50% of the time. This may include having calling shifts assigned and providing back-up coverage as needed to meet call volumes.
Attend and pass all training for the projects, including Team Lead Training.
Provide coaching and mentoring to interviewers on how to perform their jobs. This includes guidance on setting up their equipment, logging in to access systems, getting started on calling, and completing their calls.
Address questions on project protocol from interviewers.
Identify problems and issues to be communicated to management.
Conduct monitoring and feedback sessions with interviewers. This includes documenting monitoring sessions to provide helpful feedback to interviewers and noting any issues with systems or calls.
Monitor sample needs and assist with tracking interviewer attendance, adjust schedules to meet hourly and daily sample calling volumes across projects.
Assist with training activities for new interviewers or refresher trainings for current interviewers on both operational tasks (i.e. completing timesheets) and project specific tasks (conducting interviews).
Proficiency with troubleshooting and using computers.
All other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications:
Ability to read, speak, and write English fluently (all training is conducted and prepared in English).
Ability to fluently read, speak, and comprehend in Cantonese or Mandarin, including reading Chinese characters.
Prior experience in survey data collection and processing activities as a team lead or supervisor for a survey research organization or similar environment (Call center, whether in-person or remote).
Prior experience related to survey data collection and processing activities (e.g. interaction with public over the phone, computer entry, standardized interviewing).
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to successfully communicate including providing constructive and helpful feedback to others.
Strong attention to detail with ability to capture and understand information quickly while conversing.
Intermediate to advanced understanding of laptop/desktop computer, including typing, keyboard skills, and connecting/accessing systems.
Prior experience using Microsoft Teams, CATI system Voxco, and Microsoft Office desired but not required.
Prior experience coaching, training, or monitoring the work of others.
Must be available to work at least 20 hours per week between the hours of 12 pm - 10 pm Monday - Friday, including possible weekend shifts (Saturday 12 pm - 4 pm, Sunday 4 pm - 8 pm).
Open availability a plus.
High school diploma or GED required.
Background check required.
Working from home requirements:
Hard-wired high-speed internet service required - must be able to connect via Ethernet cable connection (within 25ft of workspace)
Wireless/WIFI connection allowed.
Must have at least 50 mbps download speed/10mbps upload speed.
Alternate telephone (i.e. cell) to use to access AIR systems as part of log in process and for communicating issues to virtual call center.
Proficiency with troubleshooting, using computers, and learning new technology.
Quiet, private space in your home to conduct work.

Attend and complete required training.
Webinar trainings to be scheduled February 2026.
4 hours per shift, some exceptions for 6- and 8-hour shifts.
20 - 30 hours per week, Monday - Friday, desired shift time between 12 pm - 10 pm ET. Some weekend hours may be required (Saturday 12 pm - 4 pm, Sunday 4 pm - 8 pm).
Successful completion of self-study and web-based training prior to outbound calling.
Successful completion of certification assessment (and retraining if needed).
Work lasts through May 2026 with the possibility of extending beyond the end of May depending on project availability and Team Lead availability and performance.
