Baseball PA Announcer
Now Hiring: PA Announcer - Zebulon, NC
On behalf of our client, Noor Workforce Solutions is seeking a reliable and motivated PA Announcer to join our client's team in Zebulon, NC. This is a part-time, seasonal game-day opportunity running from May through August 2026.
The ideal candidate will serve as the official announcer for sponsored promotions, player introductions (home and visiting), and game updates during all Zebulon Baseball home games and select special events. This role requires the ability to follow direction and adapt quickly to the last-minute changes typical of live sporting events.
Candidates must have a clear, professional speaking voice and be available to work all 34 Zebulon Baseball home games.
Previous experience as a PA announcer, host, or broadcaster is required.
Game Announcements
- Introduce players, coaches, umpires, and special guests.
- Provide real-time updates on game action including at-bats, pitching changes, and scoring plays.
- Deliver pregame and postgame announcements including lineups, ceremonial events, and sponsor acknowledgments.
Fan Engagement
- Energize and entertain fans with lively, professional commentary.
- Announce between-inning promotions, contests, and special activities.
Compliance
- Ensure all announcements comply with league and team policies, including promotional and sponsor messaging.
- Follow scripts for scheduled activities while remaining flexible for unscripted situations.
Game Operations
- Collaborate with game-day staff including the scoreboard operator, music director, and on-field hosts to ensure smooth game flow.
- Adjust tone and pace of announcements to match the atmosphere of the game.
Other duties as assigned.
Voice and Delivery
- Strong, clear, professional speaking voice with excellent diction.
- Ability to project enthusiasm, energy, and confidence in a high-energy environment.
- Comfortable speaking to large crowds with poise and charisma.
Baseball Knowledge
- Solid understanding of baseball rules, terminology, and game flow.
- Ability to anticipate and communicate game information accurately and promptly.
Technical Skills
- Familiarity with PA systems and microphones.
- Ability to quickly adapt to scripts, schedules, and live game developments.
Professionalism
- Ability to remain composed and professional under pressure.
- Comfortable taking direction and adjusting to changing circumstances during live events.
Availability
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays throughout the baseball season.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a public address announcer, broadcaster, or emcee in sports or entertainment.
- Background in radio, communications, or voice work.
- Familiarity with Minor League Baseball or live event operations.
- Schedule: Zebulon Baseball home games (evenings, weekends, holidays)
- Season: May - August 2026
- Shift Length: 4-5 hours per game
- Pay Rate: $75 per game
- Pay Frequency: Weekly
- Overtime: May be available based on client needs
