Now Hiring Floorman - Fish Processing

On behalf of our client, Noor Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Floorman - Fish Processing to join our client's team. This is a full-time opportunity to support seafood processing operations in a fast-paced production environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our client's operations by handling seafood products, assisting with processing activities, maintaining sanitation standards, and ensuring product quality and safety requirements are met. The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, professional, and able to work in a cold and physically demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the movement and processing of seafood products, including sorting, grading, packing, and weighing
- Ensure proper handling and storage of fish to maintain product quality and freshness - Operate and monitor processing equipment as directed
- Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment to meet hygiene and food safety standards - Follow all client and staffing firm policies, procedures, and safety requirements - Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to maintain efficient workflow - Report product quality concerns, equipment issues, or safety hazards promptly - Assist with additional production and warehouse duties as needed
- Meet attendance, punctuality, and performance expectations
- Complete required documentation and reporting as applicable

Required Qualifications
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Ability to work in cold, damp, and refrigerated environments for extended periods - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift - Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing approximately 25-50 lbs as needed - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous seafood processing, food production, manufacturing, or warehouse experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and production equipment

Pay & Schedule
- Schedule: Sunday through Thursday
- Shift: 3:00 PM - Finish (typically around 12:00 AM)
- Shift length: Approximately 8-9 hours, depending on production needs
- Pay rate: $17.00 per hour
- Pay frequency: Weekly
- Overtime: May be available based on client needs

Physical Requirements

- Occasionally reach and lift seafood products, materials, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs - Ability to remain on your feet for the entirety of your shift, with frequent standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive movements
- Must be able to tolerate prolonged work in refrigerated environments ranging from approximately 32?F-39?F (0?C-4?C)
- Ability to work safely on wet and potentially slippery surfaces while following safety protocols - Possess effective communication skills through speech and listening and fluency in English through reading, writing, and speaking
Working Environment
- Work is performed primarily in refrigerated production areas
- Floors may be wet and slippery; proper safety precautions are required
- Waterproof boots, cold-weather gear, gloves, hairnets, and other required PPE are provided - Position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
