Now Hiring Order Picker in Franklin, MA

On behalf of our client, Noor Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Order Picker to join our client's team in Franklin, MA. This is a full-time temporary opportunity to support warehouse operations by accurately selecting, preparing, and processing customer orders in a fast-paced distribution environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our client's operations by picking and packing orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, operating warehouse equipment, and assisting with shipping and receiving activities. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, professional, and able to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer and company specifications - Verify product quantities and quality to ensure order accuracy

- Operate RF scanners and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively - Assist with forklift and pallet jack operations; training may be provided

- Maintain organized inventory locations and a clean work area

- Conduct inventory checks and report discrepancies as needed

- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity goals

- Assist with loading and unloading shipments as required

- Follow all client and staffing firm policies, procedures, and safety standards - Meet attendance, punctuality, and performance expectations

- Complete required documentation and reporting as applicable

Required Qualifications

- Ability to follow instructions and work independently

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards - Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying inventory

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous warehouse, distribution, or order picking experience preferred

- Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems

- Forklift or pallet jack experience preferred

- Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory control, or fulfillment operations Pay & Schedule

- Schedule: Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed

- Shift: 2:30 PM - Finish

- Shift length: Varies based on workload and overtime requirements

- Pay rate: $24.00 per hour

- Pay frequency: Weekly

- Overtime: Available based on client needs

- Occasionally reach and lift inventory, products, and materials weighing up to 50 lbs - Ability to remain on your feet for the entirety of your shift, with frequent walking throughout the warehouse

- Must be able to tolerate prolonged standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive movement throughout the workday

- Ability to safely navigate warehouse aisles, storage areas, and shipping locations - Possess effective communication skills through speech and listening and fluency in English through reading, writing, and speaking
